Yay, that’s great. I am happy for you. But I’m hoping your faith grows. That means I hope there are new understandings that have come to you, that you have let go of some misunderstandings, that you have moments of doubt and moments of trust. Mostly, I hope that it means you are actively doing something about growing your faith.
Lent is that time when we hunker in on some aspect of faith. It’s a great time to make a resolution to….. do something that is intentional about growing your faith: read and think on a daily devotional, join a small group, pray (I mean really pray), take a walk and talk with God, something….
Faith is a nice gift from God, but it wasn’t meant to simply receive. It was given so we could do something with it! And there’s always more we can do with our faith….
So, get busy… in growing your faith.
Peace in our journeys,
Pastor Steve Melde
